Growing up in and out of the urban environments in Arizona to rural forests of Indiana and West Virginia, Charlton has a diverse background in design including urban and residential design, public park improvements, river and bay front development, resort style planning, and private sector accommodations. Charlton studied landscape architecture at West Virginia University with a commitment to improving the quality of urban and rural life as an active artist and illustrator, hoping to bridge the gap between art and engineering.
