KATHLEEN HAMMERDAHL
After living in New Jersey all her life, Katy moved to Texas to start her career in landscape architecture at CLA. She received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Rutgers University in 2023 and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree in 2024. She has previously worked as a student worker at Rutgers Gardens, a teaching assistant for a planting design course, and a research assistant to a professor in the landscape architecture department at Rutgers. Her interest in the field stems from a love of both science and art and she hopes to foster meaningful, thought-provoking connections between people and the natural world through design. Katy is excited to have an opportunity to learn and grow as a landscape designer at CLA.
