The master plan for Roam Ranch entailed a detailed study of the existing site conditions and original homestead. Work included reconfiguration of the vehicular roadways, creating a hierarchy for visitors that is separated from the daily bison operation. Design elements include a peach orchard, native prairie grasses, gravel auto court, rain gardens, buffalo lawn, shade garden, vegetable garden, and guest quarters.
