SKY BROWN
After several years as an elementary and middle school teacher, Skylar pursued landscape architecture as a way to combine her interests in ecology, systems thinking, and research. She earned her Master of Landscape Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin, where she worked as a graduate research assistant while gaining professional experience through internships with Austin landscape architecture firms. Her work has included urban design, ecological restoration, planting design, and spatial design. She is especially interested in landscapes that are rooted in thoughtful research and careful site analysis, exploring how ecological systems, history, and regional context can inform design.
