THE NORWOOD PROJECT
CLA is the lead design consultant working with the Norwood Park Foundation to renovate the grounds of the historic Norwood Estate. The 6-acre property will be used as an interpretive community center operated by the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department and the Norwood Park Foundation. The design includes renovation of a historic tea house, parterre garden, greenhouse, and a new event terrace, sunken look out with views of downtown Austin, flowering bosque, wildflower meadows, parking and drop-off plaza, and dog park entrance. The project is currently being permitted with the City of Austin.
